Doyle Field is a 21 acre piece of property that was gifted to the city in 1931 by former Mayor Bernard W Doyle. Hundreds of walkers use it daily as well as hundreds of children at the playground named Imagination Station. Leominster High School football, baseball, tennis, soccer, field hockey and track and field programs use Doyle Field as their home playing fields.

Upgrades - 2014

This year with the help of the Mayor, DPW and Wire Department, a new 80 foot flag pole was erected at Doyle Field. Two new sets of aluminum bleachers were installed at the baseball field. Boy scouts from all three Leominster Troops volunteered under the supervision of David Smith, DPW General Foreman. There are now 452 seats available to watch a ball game. This seating adds a very professional touch to a beautiful complex.

The black vinyl fencing was installed from left field to the first light pole. Left field is now 16 inches high for 150 feet and has a new scoreboard donated by Leominster Credit Union on it. The warning track was also reestablished as part of this project.
