Hazardous Waste Day Schedule for 2023
These events are held at the Leominster DPW, located at 109 Graham Street. The City of Leominster provides residents with an opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste 4 times each year. Registration for Hazardous Waste Day is not required; however proof of residency will be required.
Vehicles will be taken in turn, beginning at 9 am and ending at noon. 50 gallons of material maximum per vehicle.

- Nickel-cadmium batteries
- Paint (oil, marine, lead, hobby)
- Paint thinners/solvents/cleaners

- Photographic supplies
- Rechargeable batteries (nickel-cadmium)
- Rodent kilers
- Root killers

Note: Latex paint is NOT Hazardous Waste. Latex paint cans must be dried out and can be put out in the regular trash.
Note: Electronics are NOT taken at this event.
Note: Motor oil can be taken to the Department of Public Works on Fridays, 8 am to 12 noon.
