Food Inspections

The Leominster Health Department permits and inspects all food facilities within the City of Leominster. This includes restaurants, retailers, school cafeterias, food services, nursing / daycare facilities, hospitals, mobile food vendors, and catering services. At this time, the City of Leominster Health Department permits and inspects 275 total facilities.

To prevent foodborne illness, these establishments are inspected in accordance with the Massachusetts State Sanitary Code Chapter X - 105 CMR 590.000 (PDF) and the Federal Food Code of 2013 (PDF).
