Mayor's Office
The mission of the Mayor’s Office is to enhance the effectiveness of the City of Leominster by acting as a liaison between all of the City of Leominster’s Departments, Boards & Commissions, businesses, residents and the external authorities as needed, by filling all vacancies to the City’s 22 appointed Boards & Commissions and by providing administrative oversight and management for the City’s School Committee as their Chairperson.

Assessors' Office
The mission of the Board of Assessors is to value real and personal property efficiently, fairly, and accurately, in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; to administer motor vehicle excise, exemption, and abatement programs; and to address concerns of members of the public quickly and courteously.

Building Department
The mission of the Leominster Building Department is to ensure the public's safety through proper construction oversight and through fair and effective zoning compliance and enforcement efforts. This mission also provides for the safe and legal construction of all new buildings and building renovations; continued compliance with occupancy and building regulations; Zoning regulation enforcement and all necessary administrative support services.

Collector & Treasurer
The City Collector's office is responsible for collecting all taxes and committed bills issued by the various city departments. All payments are recorded, posted, updated, and deposited daily. The Collectors staff is committed to providing our customers with up-to-date information on their accounts effectively and efficiently - using guidelines established by the Department of Revenue and City Ordinance.

Council on Aging & Senior Citizens Center
The Mission of the Leominster Council on Aging/ Senior Citizens Center is: to enhance the quality of life for seniors in the community by assessing their needs; to design, create and advocate for programs that meet the established needs of the seniors; and to educate and enlist the support of city, state, federal and private organizations who can assist the senior population.

Emergency Management
Emergency Management protects the City of Leominster by coordinating and integrating all activities necessary to build, sustain, and improve the capability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from threatened or actual natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other man-made disasters.

Fire Department
We are to safeguard its citizens by providing high-quality emergency fire, rescue, and emergency medical services. We shall make every effort to maintain a fire fighting force capable of handling structural fires, hazardous materials incidents, incidents of terrorism, medical, or rescue incidents as well as any other catastrophic event which may occur. These efforts are combined with a proficient and proactive fire prevention program to include public education, code enforcement, and systems engineering.

Health Department
The Health Department enforces Massachusetts General Laws, State Environmental and Sanitary Codes, City of Leominster Ordinances and Regulations. The Health Department has the primary responsibility of protecting and improving the public health and well-being of the Leominster Community. The enforcement and inspection activities ensure a safe and healthy environment in which to live and work.

Parking in Downtown Leominster
The Office of the Parking Clerk directs, manages and operates the City's parking control and enforcement efforts. The Department enforces parking regulations through the employment of Parking Control Officers. All permit processing, revenue collection, hearings, grievances and public communications related to parking violations (“tickets”) issued by the City are handled by the Parking Clerk.

Veterans Services
To provide services and benefits to eligible Veterans and their families in a timely manner in compliance with Massachusetts General Laws (Chapter115) and further, represents and advocates for Veterans and family members with the U.S. Government and private agencies, Veteran service organizations and the public, to maximum utilization of available resources.

The Leominster Weights and Measures Department, under Massachusetts General Laws and City of Leominster Ordinance, will ensure fairness in the marketplace by providing annual device inspection services, a random inspection program, complaint resolution, and public awareness for Leominster residents, business managers, and the general public.
